ROLLING PAPER Despite the enormous health benefits marijuana or cannabis has, its method of consumption is very important as it could lead to various health conditions. Chemicals in rolling papers
The chemicals found in some rolling papers have different adverse effect of one’s health. Smoking cannabis is therapeutic but what you smoke with should be wisely selected. Apart from this, the paper can contain additional substances that slow down the burning, stabilize the paper itself, its smoke, and its ash. White rolling papers usually have a chemical component which is chlorine or calcium carbonate, which help slow down the burn. Flavoured and coloured rolling papers also contain chemicals or even natural substances that have no real reason to be inhaled. Nowadays, many papers from respectable brands are made without chemical treatments or materials that improve combustion, reducing the possible harm and aftertaste of your smoke.
When papers market themselves as organic, you can be sure that they are free of bleach and other unnecessary chemical additives. Organic products are all the rage nowadays, and for good reason. Nobody wants to worry about what’s in their rolling paper beyond what herbs are packed in there!

How is rolling paper different from a normal paper?
Normal paper burns quite quickly but rolling paper doesn’t. It’s a bit glossy and takes longer to burn.

A rolling paper is made from thin, lightweight rag fibres such as Flax, hemp, sisal and rice straw. The paper is available in different sizes and has a narrow strip of glue along one long edge for sticking. It has a high filler content and a basis weight of 18-28 g/m². Its primary use is for smoking tobacco but it can also be used for enjoying weeds.
Normal papers are produced from food whiles rolling papers aren’t. Unlike regular paper that you write on, most rolling papers are not made from wood. Most rolling papers are made from non-wood fibres, often from plants like hemp, flax, rice straw, and others. These types of fibres tend to burn slower than wood fibres, making them more suitable for smoking.
